One of the best things about being an end to end vehicle provider is knowing that we are able to build vehicles to perfectly match their industry needs - the DAF LF 18.280 flatbeds with Palfinger PK 19 cranes that we just handed over to Heras Readyfence are a perfect example. From start to finish we worked with Heras on virtually a daily basis to design and build the ultimate vehicle for the fencing industry.
These bespoke vehicles feature a wide range on innovations, modifications and bespoke features that increase safety and use of use for the driver and operators. One of the most outstanding features must be the hydraulic H-frame headboard that has been fitted to not only protect the crane and ease the securing of large fences, but the ground level H-frame controls means that there is no longer any need for the operator to ever be on the body – eliminating one of the most common health and safety risks.
We’ve also spoken extensively to the drivers and asked them for their unique insight into what makes a great fencing truck. Armed with these insights we added additional stowage compartments, redesigned the bolster and strap storage areas and increased ease of use all round the vehicle. The result is a vehicle that is a vehicle that the company can be confident and that any driver would be proud to drive.
Because this was our brand new design for fencing truck range, we invited Heras Readyfence up to our Livingston depot to unveil these amazing vehicles. If we thought we were excited, they were doubly so with all of the managers and directors getting a hands on look at all the features that are going to make their new fencing trucks the envy of the industry.
